I deliberately ensured that the "tent" at least wasn't too similar to the AoS tent, and it shows.
Chat placement could be argued to be in the same place as in Minecraft. The killfeed placement, on the other hand, is where I believe it was in I think 0.60.
The colour palette is meant to be close to the AoS palette, at least for now. I might try the Sega Master System palette at some stage, although that's damn tricky (plus I can't practically use pure black, sorry - need to fix that!).
With that said, 1.0 doesn't have a colour palette, the intel/tent indicators were changed in 0.61, and to think about the minimap, the "Location" indicator is actually learn_more's idea if I recall correctly.
But having said that, scum will always try to sue for something. Hell, maybe even patent infringement. Maybe even the potential to allow patent infringement. I believe it's worth the risk, anyway.
