I'm hoping there will only be one match played per day from now on. Will create a lot of hype.

Teams should post the time for their match somewhere so people find about it and spectate. We could even make a calendar for the league now that only organized teams are left.
LINES vs [FF]: Saturday the 1st, June - 10 / 11 PM GMT

danhezee wrote:List of things to fix or add to match.pyI got bored so I completely rewrote the script.
- reset the intel to the original spawn if it lands in water. The push script does this.
- use /time to check to see what the current time is, available to all players.
- after the timer starts global chat is disable unless you are admin or trusted, resets vack to normal after the match.
- we need another timer command for the finals, maybe /finals <time>. It would allow the match to go into overtime if the teams are tied after the timer expires.
- The last minute doesnt countdown correctly. It waits a minute and then starts the 60 second countdown.

Did some testing found a few bug.
Players who join after a cap wont see the current score. They only see 0-0.

topo wrote:The other bug is minor, when the timer is off players glitch out because of the killing and building overrides. It was like that with the old script. It is no big deal. People joining late or re-joining after a disconnect and not seeing the correct score, just sounds like something people will complain about. I'll test the changes you made later today. No worries about the players glitching out while the timer isnt on.

How about if match.py gradually increases the respawn time after overtime?
Our match yesterday lasted 1.5 hours, and it could have lasted much much longer.

Why do you want it to last longer?

Longer respawn time means that it's easier to cap the intel. And if the teams has a good defence then the match could go on forever.
