I have a plan- a /r/vxw/ subreddit, anyone?
Styling, hosting uptime etc, all take care of.
Also, Lecom- I'm sure that in the prev release the guns rendered smooth (like cubes/OS), now they're kinda squares like in the classic client- can we change this, they look much nicer the first way.

well, in the first place, we never had solid looking sprites. But that is why pn3d will come in handy. We just have to wait for ken silverman to release it.
Anyway, as I was saying, GitHub is excellent at managing open-source projects (free for an unlimited amount of public projects). The catch is that it uses Git, which has a somewhat steep learning curve. At first it looks simple to use, but then you soon realize that it's actually very complex, and most "complex" commands need to be done on a command line. It's also easy to get tangled up in push conflicts and such.
I've used GitHub for multiple projects now. It's overkill for what GitHub offers, but at least GitHub allows repositories to be scalable, meaning that you just turn on features like wiki and issues when the time comes.

don't have reddit. good idea though.

maybe we could all scrounge our moneys together to make a BnS/classic forums clone?

xp for da win!
sometimes I use my old win7 hard drive from my laptop.
Sometimes I wish Microsoft made an "HD" remake of Windows XP (with Windows NT 6.5 or whatever version we're at), to reel deserters back in.
My only gripe with VXW is the movement lag. There's basically no lerping in the net code, so if your ping spikes, then it becomes extremely hard to move, like in CoD4/5.
