Smg isn't out, since most people believed it wasn't significant enough for a game change.
Besides, how many people here have actually used the smg for a consecutive 3-4 games? Or is everyone here just complaining about when they get killed by a stray bullet while crouch spamming?
SMG: Concept was profound as a suppression weapon and as a weapon that would force other players into cover. Problem is that when needed tweaks to not make the SMG an AR, they did not come.

I think the SMG make the game better ( I knew its OP ,breaks blocks to fast , to accurate and much more) But better then having one gun ( or a game without a Automatic Gun) , also if the SMG would get a drastically Damage Decease to 50 25 15 or so It would be cool , So that it gets useful as a Close Quarters and as a Block Destroying weapon. Without its use as a Super accurate Assault Rifle.

Imagine a game weapon with the accuracy and hitting power of the rifle with a higher rate of fire than the SMG. The bitchfest in the text buffer would be epic.
Ultimately I would like to see the full auto capability removed: one round fired per mouse click. I don't want to "nerf" the accuracy at all (which is why I posted a theoretical 800 block distance), but since laser accuracy is generally frowned upon, I think it should be more difficult to initiate a follow up shot by increasing the visible recoil. I believe someone mentioned button mashing the mouse as a theoretical issue. I have no problem with a time limit placed on the trigger.
Basically I want the darn thing to shoot where I aim it as far out as I can see it, but it should be more difficult for me to make a follow up shot. I would also be willing to eliminate the "from the hip" ring and bead sight, so that it would be more difficult to use as a melee weapon, but that's just me.

I found a solution to this. Iceball. This SMG thread wasn't bent on disabling SMG from AoS, but from Iceball.

I have a idea for the smg:
-Slow firerate
-200 bullets in 1 magazine
-spreads like hell
-recoil is horrible
-crounching is the only way you can even hit 2 bullets
-Damagage is about 7 for body and 13 for head
Then we only would be able to use the smg as supression
