Open spades is ok but it is missing a lot of things.
It needs a commando, Marksman, rocketeer, and a miner. Needs prebuilt structures, kill cams, drill guns, jetpacks, and points for tea bagging.
Then this will actually be fun to play. Green_Wink1

The idea of classes are just stupid. Jeeps and any other cars will never work with blocks and it just seems pathetic. Helicopters and boats would be cool but that's if the maps were bigger and had a system in place to prevent abuse. LMG and rocket launchers would be nice as a "heavy slot" and maybe limited ammo or a killstreak in order to unlock to again prevent abuse. Pistols seem ok to add too.

I have some weird idea for a mod, first someone can link me to a guide or some tutorial and tools to start making mods for openspades? I made tons of skins for the game in slab6 (and im still making more because nobody elses do, you can see my post on the first page) but well to the point, i want to make something like a weapon/player skin randomizer let me explain it.

Seeing the same weapon always is boring as fuck and monotone, so you put all the different skins of weapons on the folder of the original weapons divided in of course more folders.

The things that is going to happend is when you see ppl playing they all gonna have different skins of weapons (even player too) when you start playing, choose your type of weapon and and then you get a random skin (no affect on stats of course) if you die you get an different skin of the weapon.

You can do that even for player skins so there can be changes in looking without affecting too much the gameplay.

The randomizer even can work for the weapons sounds so when you are playing you will always hear different shoots and see different players and weapons, it will looks more like a real war.

Well i dont know if you are being sarcastic, but i need someone to teach me about: programming, scripting and modding the game please, i have lots of more ideas.

No it's really not sarcasm. I mean it (this feels weird to type) and I personally think that this is a great idea.

That's a pretty good idea, multiple different skins put in a randomiser and one randomly selected, this would be good to add some randomization, same with gun skins, also a randomiser based on what weapon you picked would be awesome, people with a rifle looking different to people with an SMG.

Well, if you like then we will organize and make more specific idea.

The point is: VARIETY

The system should be operated in this way, here are 3 folders with the skins

Rifle, SMG, Shotgun

Inside, there will be more folder with all the skins that the randomizer is gonna, randomize i think.

Rifle : RIFLE01, RIFLE02, RIFLE03...
SMG : SMG01, SMG02, SMG03...
Shotgun: Shotgun01, Shotgun02, Shotgun 03...
Player: Player01, Player02, Player03

Sounds folder can work like that i think.

Now in the game.

You start, choose the type of weapon (Rifle, SMG, Shotgun) you get a random skin of that weapon and player (No affect on stats of course) every other player will have a random (third person) skin of the weapon and player too.

When they die, they get another random skin of the weapon they chose, when you die, you get a different skin of the weapon you chose (Rifle, SMG, Shotgun) (No affect on stats again)

I was thinking on another system too, something like weapons skin tiers for your teammates, if they started, they get something simple like an mp40, if they get 20 points, the skin changes to a higher tier weapon, like an Thompson gun (im naming WW2 weapons) it can work the same with player skins, they start with a private and upgrade n shit so you can identify the players with more and less points in the map.

I have a petty, visual idea. When a corpse is floating in water, the water around the corpse should start turning red from the blood.

I dunno about the points and whatnot, but having random guns being chosen sounds like a marvelous idea.
