Well, there was an event on last night but you didn't turn up. Be sure to participate in Sunday's community event. (Look up the Community Events sub-forum).

Mods sound cool! Combat Engineer is given to players who have been in the clan for a long time and are considered to be extremely good players.

I may have to set up a forum in the future, but to be honest we've just not got enough players right now :P
