it still doesn't seem to work, are you sure you have your ports forwarded correctly?

I'm sure I do... Damn. I'm sure I'd managed to do it. I'll try again. The problem could be with my firewall. What does it say when you can't get in?

EDIT: I've messed around with the setting of my firewall, it should work now, if it doesn't I'll try something else I have in mind...

it says I was disconnected for "unknown reason"

I tried again and it doesn't work either. has anyone been able to connect to it before? maybe it is something on my end, but I can connect to all the other servers I've tried

Very odd... yes, people have connected before. (I can remember a player called 'HEAVY' connecting for about a minute when the map was on Shanghai.).

Em... try it via the 'server list' on build and shoot. I think it'll work then...

I'm not sure. It looks like your using OpenSpades, that could be the problem

Well... bums. Well... Hmm... 'Unknown Error' isn't very productive, usually it'll say 'Connection Failed' if it's not a port forwarded server... I'll restart it. I'm sorry about this, I'm sure it was working, several people have been on so far :(

Ok, I've restarted it; the IP seems to have changed, and I've changed some of the options around. But when you connect it just says your IP, rather than your name as well which is strange. It's a big bloody mess, but I'm working on it. Welp, it isn't giving me the 'Unable to create host structure!' error any more. I can only hope this is going to work.

EDIT: Welp, it was working, but my router is being a ducking duck about security. I'll get my technical wizard friend to come round in a day or two to help out. Don't worry, it was working before, it will work again!

maybe we should set up something like an IRC channel or chat room, so back and forth conversations like this do not clutter this topic so much. do you have steam? we could also use that to make a group
