Hmyeah, that's what happens when you don't set it manually, they give you some silly names. It's a way to force people to read the docs. I can't complain, it's waaaaay nicer than the kick_on_join thing they had before.

Not really - if you don't set the name, we kind of have to default to something else, in this case, a generated one, and in ace of spade's case, "Deuce".

Really? I remember the latest version(s) of AoS classic asking your name if you didn't set it manually. I might be wrong, though, and I can't test it right now.

Edit: Ok, tested 0.76 and it does ask for your name. It's just nice.

Well, in older times it used to default your name to Deuce#. I think there was a short-lived version where it defaulted to Cheese or some other shit like that, but it was updated soon enough.

You guys should make a thread about it if you want another event... I'm sure rakiru could have the server ready in 5 min if needed. ;*

The server should be up all the time anyway. I can reset the score, change the map etc. for an event or something if needed. If it goes down, let me know - it probably crashed or something.
