They are required to list at least 5 core members but can choose to list up to 10 core members.
Team members need to use the alias listed when their team registered.
Subbing is allowed, but to participate in a match at least 4 core members from each team must play in the match. Players from the opposing team reserve the right to veto anyone they don’t feel comfortable with.
Respawn is 14 seconds.
Capture the flag. Most flag caps within 45 minutes wins.
Teams are awarded 3 points for winning, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.
Maps are symmetrical or pretty close to it so that they remain balanced and fair for both teams. Command post, spawn area, and intel are default ctf meaning the cp and intel will spawn in a random location on the map.
Spectating is allowed but it is a privilege not a right, server admins reserve the right to remove anyone from spectator for any reason. Teams reserve the right to suggest a spectator be removed from the server as well.
Cheating is not tolerated, if an individual member of a team is caught cheating the entire team could risk elimination. We will review each scenario and determine the best course of action.
Cheating includes but is not limited to the following: purposely glitching the map to create invisible or indestructible blocks, using enlarged player models, aimbots or accuracy hacks, ghosting while in spectate and failing to report ghosting is also considered cheating.
The grenade trick via swapping weapons will not be punished.
Regular Season
Once you register a team you will immediately be eligible to start playing against other teams.
Once your team has their first match, your team will get one bonus point added to their total score.
You can have a maximum of three matches count towards your score with any one team in the league.
When two teams agree to a match their score afterwards is counted(unless otherwise determined).
There is a cooldown period before rematches will be allowed.
The season will be 6 weeks long and divided into 3 stages two weeks long.
You won’t be able to have a rematch with a team until the start of the next stage, unless it is the final section, in which case rematches are allowed if you have not already played the team 3 times.
Scheduling is your team's responsibility.
You are encouraged to reach out to other teams as soon as you apply and begin scheduling a team to fight. You will need to decide on a date and time and who will act as the home team and who will be the away team.
Anyone that is op'd in #BnS.League will be able to start a match between two teams.
The Season Championship
After the regular season, we will take the top 8 teams and use a single elimination bracket tournament to determine the season’s champion. stay tuned for the rules.
Playoff Entry Tiebreaker Format
Seeding in the playoffs will be done as follows. If there is a tie, move to the next option.
1. Team with the most points gets the higher seeding.
2. Team with the most wins gets the higher seeding.
3. Team with the least losses gets the higher seeding.
4. Team with the most caps gets the higher seeding.
5. Team with the least caps given up gets the higher seeding.
6. Team that won more games against the other gets the higher seeding.
7. Team that has capped more against the other gets the higher seeding.
If there is a tie for all of these, a tiebreaker match will be played according to playoff tiebreaking rules, and the winner receives the higher seed.
I already translated it to portuguese. but the playoff part may not be 100% accurate, as portuguese doesn't have a word for "seeding" that would make sense, so i kinda switched seeding for "points that won't count towards score"
<podbiel> zeka did nothing wrong

The rules are perfect, I do not see much what fix , now let's see if this actually work in practice. I predict some people crying about the rule of "spade-nade"...
a lower timer on grenades is not that big of a deal and I am glad it is allowed, most of the rules seem fair. Can't wait for next season of the league.

In the case that both teams choose same maps- no big deal, randomizer will still work. Mainly suggesting this because the inconceivable amount of morons who don't understand the concept of "compromising." On top of that, I really like to see more and more different maps - I'll thank the mapmakers right now, and hope to see more. ;)
Could you also reconsider adding this rule? For me its seems like quite nice idea.
KomradeKorakoff wrote:A new solution for tiebreakers in playoffs should be a best of three system, in which the teams play each other three times. The final score will be judged with cumulative caps (i.e., 0-0 in game 1, 2-1 in game 2, 3-0 in game 3; add all three for 5-1 victory). In the case that all three games are a tie, the LAST resort should be KDR. I say this and leave out intel "touches" relatively because KDR arguably shows the power of map control and individual "talent," since generally speaking, the team that has most of the map is able to kill more. This could be argued by saying that a team could be constantly running to campers and dying without getting kills.
Not bad idea but I'm not sure if extra matches would be the best solution as a tiebreaking rule.

Well i dunno, maybe you would like to change to purple and orange teams?
Eimis wrote:Fixed intel locations. Every time before we play a match, we waste about 5-10 minutes resetting intels, there shouldn't be such problems.
Yea I agree with that.
Maybe it is useless to post anymore ideas, well at least I've said my opinion.
