Cant do that, boss. Please re-read the rules concerning combat. Conquest of territories occurs in a minimum 3 wide line when possible.

Well unfortunately one cannot expand and attack in the same round and both take place in a minimum 3-wide line >:(
What I can recommend is keep expanding south until a suitable time and place comes until you can attack and still have a good probability of leaving a small gap for derpster.
Don't forget about that island to the west.

I believe in the spirit of alliances my country would foresee the flaw in the 3 wide path and allow passage for my ally to attack.

We have an officially recognized alliance, we cannot attack one another without waiting a turn to break the alliance. I believe that stipulation allows us to grant one territory wide passages as we deem fit. I hereby deem my ally a one wide territory path to africa.
