Carmageddon - the best hit'n'run racing game, ever.

Seriously, nobody talks about it even if it was the most controversal video game of 1997. And because of the iOS re-release and the development of Carmageddon:Reincarnation, I decided to make a topic about it.
Carmageddon is a free-form racing game(kinda like free-roam if you still have time, we will talk about it later), where, TLDR, running over people(pedestrians)/cows gains you points, along with doing stunts(a barrel roll for example) and ramming the hell out of other racers. Each race is timed(usually gives you 1:30 mins at start) and there are 3 ways to complete the race: race all the checkpoints; waste all other racer(aka ram them until they die); kill all pedestrians(there are usually ~500 of them scattered around the map, VERY HARD TO ACCOMPLISH). Finish races earns you money to upgrade your car parts(divided into 3 catergories: Power, Armor and Offensive, and it's a universal upgrade: upgade one car will also upgrade all the other cars); exp to level (each completed race levels you by at least 1 rank); and more maps to unlock. Occasionally, you can unlock a car by wasting them(usually marked with "Stealworthy"), and there are 30+ of them. And that's pretty much it.(?)
A much more modern game, Carmageddon:Reincarnation, will hand out some alpha game codes to Kickstarters backers, so if any of you donated to them, you could try the alpha stages of the game by Q1/2014.

There's also the original version of Carmageddon sold on the Play section, along with Carmageddon II: Carpocalyse Now and Carmageddon for iOS.
