I think it would be better to highlight a certain aspect of AoS. Perhaps highlight TC, or Classicgen CTF, or Normandie, and every map that has it in it's rotation will be evaluated and whatnot, and the good ones will be highlighted.

Huff.. Stop trying to pick the certain aspects of the game that YOU enjoy. There are plenty of people out there who do enjoy arena. And saying yeah BR's is plain racism. I know a couple who don't like arena. Who are you to decide what direction this game needs to go in. It's a Ftp game. It's not like you have any right to be angry with which direction this game is heading. If you had say paid, donated, contributed to building, developed, or input anything other than your personal OP and ideas then you have nothing to complain about. You are making this a mute topic by spamming the forums with this crap. If you highlight a certain game mode and server. So what? B&S has many people with many different ways they enjoy this game. I do enjoy playing arena every now and then. And all of the other game modes. And maps. By saying well we need to get the game back to it's Core and only allowing 0.76 ctf whatever map you are in fact removing this game from it's core. This game has very distinctive features. Such as an FPS that allows construction another would be EASY moddability. Which means that players may take this game and modify how they see fit. IF you don't like this. Then modify it a way that you enjoy. Create a different mod such as OS and so on.

The thing that many people here (including myself) want is the game that once encouraged teamwork and creativity (and there are probably more I'm missing). Arena is very limited when it comes to creativity because it's just your average FPS shooter game. The only charm to it is that it can be played on almost any computer. Teamwork is slightly encouraged in the game-mode, but from my personal experiences, it has always came down to which team had the most SMGs or who camps the most.

I haven't heard about removing certain maps and game-modes from the game (unless it was a joke). We just want to promote underrated game-modes. I'm defiantly sure nobody mentioned anything about "only allowing 0.76 ctf".
And OS is not a mod.

No, because it's meaningless. There's absolutely zero reason why people should be upset about the existence of a gamemode they don't have to play.



Especially one that's not even that popular.

Also, it isn't just that BS that's ruining the game: it's also the shit maps like Hallway/Pinpoint and Stadium, which you CAN'T deny are a problematic size.
