I love the new guy replying to everyone on the forums
He's just gives generic answers to actual questions that doesn't help and pisses everyone off Green_tongue

There's at least one other forum specialist too (mrroberts or something) that has been around for a while already.

What rakiru said do you have any evidence? mroberts appears to have had good standing in a runescape community and was invited to moderate Ace of Spades. Titantium I am not aware of his back story.

He used to be a serial killer but has changed for the better.

Yeah I saw that Titantium guy giving general unspecific answers, though does it really matter his back story or what he did to get forum specialist? Still he seems kind of the propaganda guy trying to tell everyone things are ok/getting better.

He's very positive, perhaps overly so at times, but it seems he takes his role seriously enough.
It's a shame that these guys have little to no knowledge about the previous game however, or seemed to have experienced some of the wacky/annoying parts of 1.0, but I guess they're just moderating the forums and don't affect the game at all - mroberts has even said said he hasn't got a working copy of the game iirc.

Why would you ever make someone a forum specialist of a game they dont even own? One may argue that you dont even need to play to clean up spam and whatnot, but having a mod pretty much limited to "Thanks for the feedback" and "check out the technical support forums" is kinda irksome.

Actually thats all the mods really seem to post, a large majority of their posts seem to be thanking people for saying nice things.
Sniper101,

I find it incredibly displeasing & rude that my post was edited inside the quote to become 'Wall of Text' - whether you want to believe it or not I am a volunteer for Ace of Spades and am not a Jagex employee - my contributions to this forum are of my own accord and I find it disrespectful to simply edit out the contents of my post with a distasteful meme - it's basically giving my contributions the 'two fingers' and as a fellow community user this is not something I find to be acceptable or welcome within the community as a whole.

I spend my own time & efforts in writing up posts to try and shed light on certain situations, in fact some users scream that they aren't being listened to and no one responds to them, but when someone does reply they treat their post as nothing more than a 'wall of text'... strange indeed.

Just as I respect your opinions and your right to contribute (within the rules) freely to discussions, I'd expect the same level of respect to be given back. I trust this with a lapse of judgement & respect.

Ki11aWi11,

Thank you for your very detailed & clearly well thought out response; you raise a number of good points, some I agree with you on and others where we differ in opinions, that's not to say your view is any different than mine, unlike how some users like to think. I have passed your post directly onto Jagex so your comments won't go unheard.

Thanks,
Titanium
Went to go see some examples of posts he made because quite frankly I haven't been on the official forums in forever and didn't know whom titanium is, found this gem. Dude raged when someone put "wall of text" when quoting him so people knew whom he was quoting. Priceless.

Mroberts301 and Titanium are basically puppet politicians who have no idea what they're talking about, or what they're actually standing for. I would be interested to see what opinions they have that aren't formed by what Jagex said.

DanHart, on the other hand, is actually pretty good, and appears to actually listen to stuff.

To be quite honest, I think the biggest problem with most of the admins is the secrecy surrounding stuff, usually in the name of marketing bullshit. Jagex is a well-rusted machine in desperate need of oiling.
