While not stealth per-say, you didn't include the importance of mobility when it comes to staying undetected and unexpected. This is especially the case when you've been spotted by someone you shot - no amount of camouflage or staying quiet is going to help you if the enemy already knows where you are. Hightailing it from there is your only option to stay undetected when facing even remotely competent opposition.

Just a quick question.
Do you plan to add guides to using sounds in-game and map awareness? (Footsteps, water splashes, on-map bullet streaks etc.)
It's been highly ignored by most of the players and it would be nice if it were to be explained thoroughly, and ways to use them to your advantage.

Good info. I would throw in my two cents and mention the tactic of "key hole sniping". I see so many players crouch walk up to a hole in a wall, stick their rifle out, and take pot shots on targets directly in front of them. If you can see them, chances are they have already spotted you.
If you can, get yourself in an area that is out of the direct field of view of the opposing team, and snipe them from the side through a very small hole, preferably just as they come out of the fog. Make sure you hide your flanks and your 6, and keep your body and rifle completely inside your nest, take minimal shots at your target, and relocate if you feel your position has been compromised. Create an imaginary kill zone in your limited field of view. One shot one kill on anything that enters that small area. Hide after every kill for at least 10 seconds to keep them from spotting you in the post death 360 view. Distractions elsewhere are a real plus. Chances are they won't be looking for you if they think the melee player with a shotty right in front of them took 'em out.
Ultimately you will be spotted and likely killed by a competent enemy, but I've racked up 70+ kill streaks this way.

This is a great guide. Something I would add would be "breaching": Basically digging a 1x1 hole in a wall and throwing a grenade inside in a way it gets stuck in that 1x1 space. When it explodes, it instantly opens a 3x3x3 hole on the wall. Really good to enter an enemy base giving them the least time to react. Works better in more "active" areas, where the sound of the block being dug, the impact of the grenade or, in some cases, even the entire explosion, go unnoticed. Not exactly a stealth tactic but it works pretty damn well. Another way to use it, that is really useful in a more "ninja"-y playstile, is to use it as a distraction. Place a "breaching charge", then run and enter(or run away, can be used to escape , for an example with an intel, too) a different way. When the enemy go and investigate the explosion, take them out.
why are you even reading this

This guide is great for new players. I think we should put it onto the portal homepage under the newbie guide!
