Ace of spades classic seems to be being re made in 1.0 or maybe as a trial, co co smack down made a video explaining his thoughts and supplying good evidence too. Also in the video we see the grid map fro harbor 2 which is my favorite map if you didn't know.

His "evidence" are just old files that were never removed from the Steam release. Ace of Spades Classic being remade in 1.0 or as a trial is not confirmed.

That map isn't confirmed, it was just a placeholder to show what the menu would look like, and that was a good few months ago. If I recall correctly, they didn't even remake the map for 1.0, they just used to map image.

Those game files have been in the game long before 1.0's actual release. They were in there back when we tested the OpenGL client (when it was still good).

oh i'm sorry I never got any new about 1.0
@tank that's sad and lazy, harbor 2 is my favorite map I will probably host it almost 24/7 on the fireguard server soon.

Even if they did use the good version, it would still suck due to no 3rd party server hosting.
