Design my youtube avatar/channel art?

Oh ho ho, this should be good.

For those of you unaware I have been putting together a gaming channel on youtube, though I have tried to design an avatar and channel art myself I'm really not that good at it. So what I was hoping was that someone from the community would like to take a crack at it instead.

What I'm looking for is something simplistic but recognizable, something that will be associated with me should the channel ever become successful. What exactly it should contain it totally up to you, though of course the channel art must contain my name: GamerDag and I would prefer it not to be AoS related, as that is unlikely to be the main focus of the channel.

One last thing, though I highly doubt I will ever monetize the channel it is of course a possibility, if you are not okay with me possibly using your work in a commercial way, please specify in your reply post. If you're not okay with it, that's fine, if I ever do monetize I will change out the avatar/art in order to protect your property.

Nah but actually, I like the avatar, I'd recommend sticking with that and getting slightly more complex channel art. Definitely avoid the usual pitfalls of YouTube game reviewers (overdone graphics, 30 second intros, begging for subscribers, etc)

I know that there have to be some closed-to-finished templates out there already.
This is a toturial I found from one of my favorite subscribers. He has many other toturials and videos on thumbnails, banners, etc. He's worth che king out.
