So what do you guys think are the three biggest problems we are facing? Is it hacking? Not enough events? Or is it something else we haven't herd before?

No os servers. We could move forward with it... i just quote shaz:

I think it would breathe a lot of life back into this community. A hope for something new.

I think one of the main issues of this game is that it's that the player-base is too small. I know I'm not the first to say this, but we have so many servers and an average of +400 players playing the game. We're not going to get many servers full. I think the reason why there's little diversity in the servers that are played is because we have few players. If every server (including 0.76 and 0.75) had to be full now, we would need at least 2500 players.Something I had typed earlier, but I thought it was at the wrong time. If people want to complain about low activity in underrated servers, it could go back to this. I just think we should probably advertise the game.

Maybe this is why the makers of Battlefield, Call of Duty and the like don't optimize for 10 year old rigs.tungdil wrote:No os servers. What about the fact that OS won't work with low-end PCs? Move to OS and the community will die even more rapidly.
2) I have 2 gigs of RAM and on a laptop (which you should know don't have changeable graphic cards)
How OS is as laggy as it is I'll never know.
If it had the requirements level of games like Battlefield Play4Free, chances are I could join in.

To everyone who says something like this:
Maybe some guys will come because of OS, discover the old AoS and find that the old gameplay is better ?
What i want to say is that except you are an extreme egoist, you could support OS even when you aren't able to play it just because it'll help the community.
I can imagine that maybe even some gaming websites will write about the "real" aos 1.0 or something.
Anyways, i'd like to see old aos servers beside new os servern.

The combination of laziness and entitlement in the community. Just about everyone bitching about "omg the game is dying" seems to have a plan of how to move forward, but no intention to follow through on it themselves. Demanding people code this and mod that doesn't get you far.

True, they still exist in high-end games like Battlefield, but are way more prevalent here. Yes, it is an advantage to those with low-end PCs (like myself until very recently), but I think the cost outweighs the benefit in this situation (especially when you consider a possible Voxlap version of OS).
2) I have 2 gigs of RAM and on a laptop (which you should know don't have changeable graphic cards)

2) See above cost-benefit analysis. Also, some laptops do have interchangeable GPUs.
