They're not aiming to make a few happy. They want the majority happy. They're a lot of people who like 0.75 so they'll provide the servers for them.Although that isn't wrong, if we want to make a change in this community, just to explore what suits us best, then you have to be prepared to make a few changes. I'm sure everyone would follow if these server owners did switch versions.
By just using the same thing, day in and day out, things could get pretty boring. The little details matter, that's why having an occasional change isn't a bad thing. It just keeps people interested.
I've currently moved all my servers to 0.76. They've taken a huge hit, going from 20-30 players on usually, to barely 10. Yes, it isn't an enjoying time at first, but slowly people will try 0.76, if you actually provide them with the option to do so.
The fact is they won't right now, not if there are already so many popular ones on 0.75, they don't need to waste their time, not all of them are aware of the differences.
A lot of this has to do with 0.76 not being an official release, not enough awareness and so forth.
If the serverlist put .76 as the primary servers on the serverlist, there would be a big change.

That still won't help because it depends on the AMOUNT of servers for each version. The server hosts are the ones that should switch their versions.

lol, y'all miss the point. Even if we all switch to 0.76 people go to the populated servers. It's one of the reasons I play 0.75 mostly. For me it's way more fun to play a populated server. Especially on a larger sized map.
It still doesn't matter what the minority wants. It's all about to majority. It's somewhat related to a business sense, you don't market things the minority wants. You market things that the Majority wants.

Not all though. That's one server. Aloha would have to move most. Then you'd have to contact each server hoster individually and convince them to switch.

If you want to spend your time hunting down each and every server host to get them to switch, then nobody's stopping you.

I'm not doing it. I'm perfectly fine with how shit is run currently. I get to sit on my ass and enjoy this game for free. If I don't like it I have many more options to choose from within the game. I have nothing to complain about. Not even the hackers and the many other "er's" that do annoying shit. If I don't like that then I have other options.
But please feel free to do what you feel is necessary.

Then you enjoy some part of it. Noone enjoys every part of every game. There's always going to be something wrong with a game.
Aos has had a following for longer than 3 years. And that's just when I found out about the game. I really do enjoy this game the way it is. There's not another one like it.
