Just loaded the main page without an adblocker.

Web developers here are bunking people into downloading fake software. I understand the site needs to make money but stooping to this level really makes the actual game developers look like a bunch of low-life scumbags.

Really hope to see OpenSpades move to a new place once it gets popular. The developers are receiving none of this advertizing money yet they still have their reputation sullied by this practice.

Seriously guys, you are just this sites "little b!tches" when it comes to the money distribution. You guys put on the show, and someone else collects the dough!

Those ads are used for money for the buildandshoot.com domain and web server and, as far as I know, cannot be fully controlled by the site administrators. It has nothing to do with any of the people you named and, if you're smart and have seen ads before (and you would be hard pressed to tell me of a site with no ads), then you would be prudent enough to either download an adblocker or just avoid them altogether.

I'm sure that no one is that stupid to click the download button in the ads. Of course, except for a few retards.

And yeah, the site admins don't really have much control over what kind of ads pop up.

Uhm, advertisements are apart of the internet. I've never heard of anyone not playing a game just because, they had a couple advertisements on there page?

we are using google adsense + plus a few other agencies that function in similar way. Adsense places ads based on the keywords on the page + your browsing history. You are seeing mail order bride ads because google thinks that is something you would be interested in, not us.

We should put an ad-block download on the front page.

Then you'd have to make a tutorial for the noobs. That way they'd actually know how to do it.
