I think you should make a list of all members, I will be working on the website (JoJoe and I were planning this).
this should be helpful: http://forumarchive.spadille.net/topic.php?id=6500
(inside there are ww2 themed models!)

I think I can also work as a scripter and a in-game artist.

Hmm, alright, this looks promising. I'd like to be part of this :)

Just tell me what I can do to help.
Glad to hear it Commando_Ghost!

You can start on anything you like. Blue_BigSmile Green_BigSmile

We need mapping assets like trees and houses, if you want to get started on something right away. I will lay out everything else in the next few days for general "needed" items. Maybe we can start a request thread where mapmakers can say what they need for their maps?

Future packs will have modern or futuristic themes, so all donations are welcome. Right now I hope we can focus on WW1 and World War 2 era models.

It would be nice if you guys included a snapshot. Press F12 in Slab6 to save a PCX bitmap, then you can convert it to PNG in GIMP. This way people can "Shop" for items easier. They can see the screenshot thumbnails in their local folders, and it will be really easy for web developers to add thumbnails to their download pages. It should make the pack really easy to browse and use.

Thanks for all the support, I am working hard at getting everything together,.

More to come ....

I think using a blog for this project would be better.

Awesome! Thanks CommieBuffalo !

Hi ShadowRanger787,
For the first map-pack I am thinking of a small World War 2 theme. It would be cool if people had some custom WW2 skins to add to the ambience.

It is all up to you guys. I always end up making Robots or something silly, so I will stick with mapping, and making tools for the mappers, and pallets or whatever you guys need for Slab6. Like I said before, Trees, rocks, bushes, houses, Subs, Boats, Ships, whatever!!

I have some kits for quickly assembling building, and castles you guys can use too. I will be releasing all of my tools in the next few days. There should be tutorials and videos soon after.

It looks like the community has a real Map repository in the Maps section now thanks to UnrealIncident!

Kuma is working on a special page for the Project Rockhopper releases, screenshots, and lots of other goodies.

I will be PM-ing the mappers later on. I really hope LostMotel, Izzy, Tripplefox, Serious_Sim, Jdew and Lihue have the time to help out! I will be going through the Map section and spamming everyone I missed with invitations. You guys are welcome to ask around too! I do not really know the community too well anymore.

Thanks again, i got to get back to work :)
Sounds neat. I don't know if my computer will be running again in time for this map, but I may be able participate in future ones.

Wow! Thanks Duck Noris!

I cant believe the turnout all ready :)

I am making tutorial videos now for the new tools I made, i should have some time tonight to set you guys up, so you can get started.

I also still need to invite the mappers... I have been waiting for them to have this kit , and tutorials first.

I already made a map repository a few weeks ago.
It's nothing special, but it is great to look for maps you were just playing on a server.

P.S.:
Also, I approve of ByteBit's maprepo. It's the best collection so far.

as jojoe has left I decided to zip up the project and put it on drop box, he didn't add to much to it but the models are still useful. I might make a map with them soon.
