On one hand, he has every right to think what he wants, and every right to state his beliefs.

On the other hand, the network has every right to suspend him from their show. Do I think they should have? No, I personally wouldn't. Nor do I agree with his views.

I didn't catch him metioning ANYTHING loosely regarding homosexual terrorism (?), but yes that is correct. And A&E have basically just commited suicide by removing one of the most popular people from what is by far their most popular show.

Edit: For those who don't know, Phil is / was one of the guys on Duck Dynasty.

Sounds like the typical "HEY EVERYONE I SAID SOMETHING OFFENSIVE, LOOK AT ME" kind of publicity stunt for me. They are probably cashing hard on merchandise for the TV show, whatever the hell it actually is about.
