Same thing. They control what can be done with any Ace of spades version.

I wonder if they would allow part ownership and or sell the two versions we do play. I doubt this since they would probably like to have the community that we have here.

Now that he's gone, can we get back on track?

good luck with that will, until ether the community pulls itself together and starts doing events or the administration become more active besides the league I don't think we will be going anywhere anytime soon.

24/7 ToW Normadie ...sigh... I used to play on that server for hours. It was only me and my M1 Garand shooting Nazis in the head. I set up bases in houses and dug tunnels to the intel. I made roadblocks on the street and stalked Nazis in the bushes. I would use the MG in the bell tower of the church to mow down enemies ...sigh... those were great times. Times when nobody knew or cared about Jagex, times when great clans like [USAB] & [INV] were still active, times when Shams & Minit were always full... I just wish it could be like that again...
ToW - popular gamemode back then, now always empty
Normandie - new and popular map back then, now rarely used
Omaha Beach - also a great map, haven't seen it in a long time
I don't think I'm the only one who feel like this...

IMHO Ace of Spades is dying. If it ever truly comes back, it won't be a recovery, it'll be a resurection.

We still doing this?
News flash: Games die out. It happens. Especially when there's very little room to expand. It's not BnS's fault at all.
There's a saying, "Be the change you want to see in the world". Think there needs to be more server modes? Learn how to make them! Think more people need to be playing the game? Advertise it!
It's nobody's fault that people just get bored of the game.

This may seem repetitive, but OpenSpades is the only way to get out the this rut, because We cannot do anything further with AoS.
It's long overdue for the community to embrace it. Or else it'll die off, and Openspades could potentially go with it...
Just saying, OpenSpades = Light at the end of the tunnel.
