I like this. I completely agree with you on Minecraft and Cat Mario. But I think you missed Dark Souls.

Hands down Hotline Miami. God, the game makes me ragequit about 3 times a day, but I always come back for the story ;n;.

The Impossible Game

This game is hard purely because it's sheer memorization and forces you to start at the beginning of the level if you fail.
