Why is the bolt, apparently, pulled back? I understand the trigger discipline but if you expect combat to have the rifle readied like that, I'd keep the bolt forward.

I can try to bring myself to do it - given I already have a template I can do it :D

The lower receiver also seems to be very oversized if the handguard starts just after the character's arms. I say try and draw the gun by itself beforehand to get proportions correct and then draw the character above it c:
