(Animal Farm is also awesome)
Also some mysterious novels are awesome such as The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Ender's Game is also a good book to read. The Alchemist is also a very good book.

I felt that things were going too fast and little intriguing details were missed out. While reading the books i had goosebumps at some parts, imagining the horrors and creating the scenes in my head. Most of the depictions in the movie were pathetic and depressing to watch by a person who enjoyed the book. So anyone out there planning to watch the movie..please please read the book first.Foogles wrote:Hunger Games.I've read all three. They are amazing books. ^Ouch. Tom Bombadil is the symbolism of pure innocence. Adam before the fall, since Tolkien wrote the books with incredible amounts of Christian symbolism. With that in mind, I see him as a perfect fit into the series and I am very sad he didn't make it into the movies. Especially the Barrow downs scene, as that ties into the fall of the Witch-King much later.

I remember reading an article making a pretty good point that it is also implied that he is the very incarnation of Eru Iluvatar in the books.
why are you even reading this
