Sup guys, im not a new modder. dont say i am ive done it for a year. so here are some of my creations kv6-wise. Btw imma jsut put my skin for people here too, i only have 1. might as well.

Once i was done uploading the files im like screw it im putting the sights and everything in. this really should go in packs. but the weps have nothing to do with eachother (aside from the ww2 set somewhere in there).

From the comments i have found out that the base of the splash was someone elses. I FOUND IT ON GOOGLE IMAGES. So creds to Torchof (i just found out he put it on bns), And congratulations to the person who put it on google images, u startd a flame war.

On a side note; just because im not new doesnt mean i know how to post well, this is only my second post. my first one was a fail i didnt really know what to do. now i KIND OF do.

P.S. I do requests as long as you send me a pic to base off of.

i realized that. i forgot to give creds. and im about to change the coloring on the rifle sight. nobody cares if i modify the original sights and dont give creds. THEYRE THE ORIGINAL SIGHTS SO THEREFOR NOBODY GIVES A CRAP. and i actually pulled the main part of the splash from google images so i had no idea. who made that? i Would like to give creds if i knew. + idk how to add a pic of the kv6. the sight is supposed to be for the mosin nagant which if you knew what one of the sights on one of those looked like you would know. the ends were hand made on mosin nagants. and if i wanted to mkae the end symmetrical i would. but i didnt.

Well sir, I am a new Modder. That being said, even I know to give credit to the owners/creators of models; If you mod off of another person's previous mod. People do care if you Mod the original sights. Some one put time, effort, work into creating that sight,weapon. Therefor they deserve recognition for doing so. What they don't care about is, if you take there model, then create something completely new off of that model. (As in 100% of the modding you did, is yours alone.) Not simply adding a few things to there mod because, at that point it is your mod, not there's. Even if you mod 90% of a previous mod. It is still 10% there mod. Therefor they do deserve credit. If I where to take one of Commando_Ghost's mods, added 5 blocks on a weapon he Modeled, He'd as well as every other modder would expect me to give Commando_Ghost credit, as well as cite what weapon I specifically modded.

If you where a "old Modder". Firstly, you would know to not have that god awful grammar on BnS forums. You'd also know to at-least put "sorry for the bad grammar". Secondly, you would know to credit every mod appropriately, before you even considered posting your mod. Thirdly, you'd also know how to add a pic of the Kv6. file.

Commando_Ghost, Models all of his weapons, sights after real weapons. That doesn't mean he knows every weapon configuration out there. He also was trying to help you. Granted he was being a typical BnS forum goer in the way that he helped you.
All you had to say was "Oh! Okay, Thank you, I'll get to work on fixing those things. End of criticism. (given you actually made an effort to improve, or signs of improvement.)

He's not the one "Butt hurt". You obviously are, considering that terrible excuse, for and excuse.

Also, Google Images? Really? I don't think you have the right to call yourself a 'modder' if all you do is grab pictures off of Google Images. Just realised you were only talking about the splash. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought you meant everything..

It's fine. Just try an give credit next time. It's an important part of modding.

So in reference to your semi mod. I'd edit the post and give credit too who first created the original weapons. Which you should look up. Next on your bolt action for the rifle. Try making the "spoon" shorter (closer to the rifle.) and then end rounder. Less spoonish.
I'd also reconsider he hex around this sight at the end. It's kind of distracting. Remember that it's important to balance the mod with as little distraction as possible. It could vary well get in the way of head shots.
