Need help. Cannot connect.

First of all I would like to apologise if this thread is in the wrong place. I didn't see anywhere else to post this.

Ok, so, I downloaded the Build and Shoot launcher, and got 0.75. But whenever I attempt to connect to a server, it says: Couldn't join server: Server connection failed. I click retry but it keeps doing this. I am using Chrome on windows 7.

I had previously gotten the classic AoS on the original website, but deleted it a while ago thinking I wouldn't play it (I was wrong).

I have allowed it through my firewall, on both public and private networks, and it still doesn't work.
