Since Jagex knifed the downloads, why don't we host them here instead?

"Play Now" -> "Install the game"
Tadaaaa.
I think B&S might change versions at some point, but still - it's there.

<@mikuli> the bad part in this plan is that it involves an already busy tea-drinking scone chomper with a monocle

From my understanding, yes, they are very different.
But the most important thing is: Voxlap AoS never was a "demo game". It was a game under near constant development until 0.75 came out. By then Jagex was already well up at the intestinal level of the cavity of "the project", and basically shut the whole bloody community out of 1.0.
DON'T EVER refer to the voxlap versions as a "demo game".

As unfortunate as it is, the voxlap version of AoS is being displayed as a demo version by Jagex. Which is why I called it a "demo game". Yes, AoS never was a demo game, but I didn't say it was. I wrote in the present tense, it is a demo until the full game is released. Not 'round these here parts it aint.
And I didn't realize the link was under play now. Thread null and void I guess, although players searching for a download might want it a bit more clearly marked.
