Griefers

I've played this game for a few days, and have had some fun games. However, most games have one or two griefers. I like to build towers and these players on my team destroy them. Votekicking doesn't work because not enough people ever seem to type /Y. It's a nice game but the griefers make it almost impossible to play. Any advice?

Shoot the griefers in the head, or spade them. If they come back to grief, just be patient and keep shooting/whacking until they leave to grief something else xD. ALWAYS start a votekick. Doesn't matter how many people are on, it might be a working kick sometime.

Can't kill teammates :(. If you could, wouldn't the griefers grief by killing teammates instead of destroying structures?
Votekick never works, too many votes required. If they reduce the number of votes, then people who are skilled will be kicked for "hacking".

If team killing is on then you could just kill them til they leave

Nonono
you don't quite understand
Teamkilling doesn't allow you to just flat out kill each other.
You can only kill someone for about two seconds after they break a block.
So whenever a griefer breaks your stuff, shoot them in the face

You must not have known, team killing just lets users kill someone once they break a block in a certain time limit. It can help things a bit but it is better to just play on well moderated servers.

Griefing has been a major problem in AoS since the beginning. Now, with the full version being released, AoS Classic is basically a dumping site full of people who are too cheap to pay for the full version (don't lie to yourself: if the full version was free, you'd play it at least occasionally please don't kill me). Some, shall we say, "uninvested" (my browser says that's not a word
) players are more prone to griefing. The way I see it, they probably think since they didn't pay for the game, they have nothing to lose if they get banned for griefing.
