Well AK, I have announced my take over of AK today in mumble. I spoke with Jdrew, Xtra, and Ginger as well. We have decided to put this to a vote. Each member will have the option to vote either myself or Jdrew, as well as the option that I am made leader, and me as well as Jdrew lead together. Me, and Jdrew have both submitted our arguments so you may see both sides. If you have any questions or concerns Simply ask I'm perfectly fine with questions as I'm sure jdrew is as well.

Ugh. Somnium. Terrible idea. Jdrew all the way. If somnum takes over, im going to have to say good bye to AK. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

I am here as some people reported leadership related issues.

First of all, I'm not quite sure what's going on, so I will ask right away. Somnium, why do you wish to take over AK? From my perspective, that is not something that is done just like that, over night. Jdrew has set up this clan and I am quite sure that he wouldn't like to give up on AK so easily. This just seems to me like an unnecessary drama that can only make things worse. Every clan out that has its own problems - that is normal, being a clan leader isn't easy these days, maintaining contentment among members isn't an easy thing to do. I can tell you, you are doing really fine and you shouldn't focus on things that you don't have, you should focus on what you have done since you have started. Don't look at bigger clans and think: "Why can't we be like this?" because that isn't the point. The point is to maintain a good atmosphere in clan and if "popularity" is more important to you than happiness of your own members, then you shouldn't lead a clan. Now, try to sort our things between you and reduce drama to the minimum. This whole "election" and "voting" is pointless and quixotic.

Leader is a person that should be the initiator of everything in clan, the person that will lead a clan into desired direction. Never lose your vision of what you want to achieve and always revere your accomplishments. As in for activity, you will just have to poke members to do things more. Also, try not to disintegrate much, keep everything in one place. Being in multiple places in same time can harm your clan and disintegrate it.

As for why I think I should, I've made my case to jdrew as well as the two admins and would be happy too explain this to any AK member. I really don't want to tell the story over and over agin. But I will PM you and get your opinion and input on the matter.

In short somnium thinks I am a dictator and thinks the clan should be more democratic and that everyone should have a say. Currently almost all decisions are made put to a vote by the admins and myself. He also thinks that with him as leader the clan will have a better reputation because I "make the clan look bad". Now you know his reasons to over throw me.
