Weapon suggestion thread

I like the way this thread is moving to but 2 things:
- modern hmgs are only mounted, and i don't know where we should use a mounted mg in aos oO. We were right with lmgs.
- PLEASE no m98b :(. As kiwi said, it's an anti-material rifle and i again don't know where we should use this oO.

Suggestions:
- the rifle needs a relative high rate of fire so you have a chance against assault rifles ( m40a5 maybe ? ghost made a nice model unrealincident)
- how about the m416 or ak-12 as assault rifle ?
- shotgun also needs a bit higher rate of fire, it's too underpowered either (r870 ?)
- mp7 would have a good rate of fire and mag size for the smg

Btw unrealincident, i talked with learn_more about kv6 sights instead of png. Ghost is working for a template and learn_more will try to implement them :).

I think the M40A5 is a better Bolt-Action (plus the mag is in the front). I kinda think that the AK12 or M16A4 would fit assault rifle slot.

Which rifle? Bolt-Action or semi-automatic? Either way, it is supposed to give long-ranged support to the frontline soldiers with ARs, so no.

M416 does not exist, the correct is HK416, and no for either, please. I rather stay using Korean War-ish models or just use fictional weapons

I don't think that's the best way to balance the shotgun but eh

Like I said, I rather we avoid using too modern weapons or go for fictional ones

So let me get this straight, using his incredibly high quality stuff (which I have yet to see many people rival) that he released for free to the world is somehow not only "living in the past" but it also constitutes me being butthurt?

I assume you're just adding new weapons by adding skins + diff stats & reload animations, correct me if I'm wrong Unreal.

I don't really use mods or anything so I don't care that much about this issue, but newer doesn't always mean better. That's a common mistake.

I like the idea, maybe anyone can build them if they have enough blocks. The reason I say spend blocks to build them is so that people do not just spawn and make them all over the place. They have to go around and collect blocks so they can play defence HMG, or they collect them along the way to the enemy base so they can construct one for cover fire during an intel raid.

This might promote team mates to help build turrets and foxholes for the HMG guy.

I like this idea. I for one agree there should be a HMG, much like the one we saw before. LMG just would attempt to steal the SMG's thunder. The whole time i was asking for a LMG, something tells me this was actually what i was asking for.

I have yet to see any gun skin that can compare to SIMOX's stuff.
