I don't mean forbid I mean keep it the way it is by default but allow users to change to png scopes if they would like instead of having PNG scopes by default.

If you say ALLOW then there have to be an option called FORBID. But there is no option FORBID so you dont have to talk about ALLOW. You don't have to ALLOW something nobody is able to FORBID. (except in juridicall cases)

How am I supposed to tune the DOF? I turned it to 1, and then .50 and everytime the game became epiliptic and died xD

Or shadows higher then lighting, either way try lowering the settings of lighting and or shadows, I don't think its a DOF problem, and you're not meant to 'turn it off'.

This should be in the Ubuntu Software Center, or atleast playdeb imo. No one is keen on compiling shit to be honest.

OpenSpades is different from the regular client so certain features are a bit wonky like when you revive people on stormwind you die instantly and when you try to fly it doesn't work.

introductions for hotkeys = look at the settings.

Also it wasn't exactly what I'd call easy. Not something a beginner could do easily. If you guys want to have a play with it I'll upload a build and put up a server. Also if you have any other weapons you'd like me to try make let me know. I can only make bullet based weapons at the moment so nothing like a rocket launcher.
