Afaik Oceania is Australia, New Zealand, some tiny shits and Indonesia/Malaysia?
Maybe we could make it have (when one of us makes a map) unrealistically big islands or something.

Initial Tech: The tech everyone starts with
Currency: Allows for trade routes
Construction: Improves defense
Sailing: Allows you to claim land by sea
Physics: Allows tiny-range artillery strikes
Naval Commerce: Allows for naval trade routes
Cannoneering: Improves range of artillery strikes
Piracy: Allows raiding of naval trade routes
Indirect Fire: Further improves range of artillery strikes
Trade Protectionism: Allows you to protect naval trade routes
Steam Power: Improves land conquest
Military Science: Slightly improves military
Industrialism: Improves value of trade routes
National Guard: Improves defense
Capitalism: Further improves value of trade routes
Replaceable Parts: Improves military & trade
Basic Rocketry: Improves range of artillery strikes even further
Total War: Allows you to convert trade value to military strength
Ballistics: Max range of artillery strikes
Flight: Allows for air strikes
Bombing: Allows you to bomb anywhere in the map
Paratrooping: Allows you to attack any point in the map

The only reason tech tree failed in V5 is because I was a procrastinative host. However, this would call for a currency in the game.

k its cool, but i think its must be a little easier, thats not a math game.

Well, hanging my towel on Cheecho's suggestion, the resources could be used instead of a currency to build stuff. Maybe have Metals, that gives a bonus to battles(extra territories gained in case of a win, less terrs lost in case of a loss?), Coal, or maybe food(tho I don't know how it would be gathered besides in special buildings) for buildings and expansion and maybe Marble or Wood for buildings.

Resources would be spread in a number of concentrated points, maybe some 4~5 terrs per "ore vein".
