I found out about aos at my friend Henry's house, I liked it a little but not that much( probably because we had to take turns playing. So I went hoe, downloaded it myself, and was immediately hooked. I never went on the forums or even registered until Bns. Anyway, when Jagex took over, because I never went on the forums I had no idea there was a BnS. But one day I searched "classic Ace of Spades" and I then clicked on a wikipedia link that went to their ace of spades(Video Game) summary. Near the bottom of the article they had a link and short summary of BnS, I then clicked on it, and was happy to see good old classic Ace of Spades again.

Hello everyone :D

Found out about AoS back in August of 2012 after seeing some of the big minecraft youtubers playing it (EthosLab, Docm, ImAnderzel). Got bored, came back in December 2012 when I heard Jagex was screwing up yet another game. I've been playing ever since :D

I started playing when I saw it on a gaming channel and I found it interesting, so I decided to check it out. When I started playing it, it was 0.76 beta, and I found the game to be interesting. But back then, I didn't go onto things like forums, so I eventually got bored of playing it. A couple of months later, I wanted to try it out again, but I soon found out that Jagex had bought the game. Another couple of months later, I discovered BuildandShoot, and I started to play the game again. I accidentally went to the forums and I saw a bunch of fans of the game, like me, so I decided to join. :)

I've had a very similar story... I started with the game about 3-4 years ago, some friend showed me the game, told me: "Hey this is actually very good game to play." I was playing mostly Czech servers before they died out, there was an awesome server which brought players the very classic "random" map. Then, i wanted to play it again, but about 1-2 years ago, i suddenly noticed that this game isn't free to play. Last year in autumn, another friend sent me a website and said that this game is back on track again, so I started playing this game again. All the time i wasn't looking for the forums on BnS, I heard some people talking about clans and so, but wasn't curious about it too much. Then a friend Electrix told me that if i want to join his clan, i have to write an application on BnS, so when i post the application, the community of AoS became finally familiar to me. And this is the place where i am now in my AoS life.
