Hey, BnS community!

I think I found Ace of Spades two years ago on a Minecraft Classic Server because there two players were talking about this "Block-Shooter". Then I googled it and I found the Ace of Spades website. I played it and had really much fun. Sometime later i was very surpised because there was written that Ace of Spades comes to Steam and will cost. Sometime later ;D I found a video on YouTube: "How to play the old Ace of Spades" so I came to BuildandShoot. It's very nice that we can play Ace of Spades on these website, thank you for this!
Now it's really funny to play again and I can play OpenSpades, too ;D.

I've been playing aos for 2 or 3 years now and I have a good friend ([+]John_smith15) to thank for that :) I started playing on the original site before it was sold to Jagex in 2012 as you all know...I was very disappointed when I learned that the site was down and that a pay-to-play version had come out in its place. But a couple of months later I found Build&Shoot.com and have been happily playing aos 0.75 and occasionally 0.76 since. I have also enjoyed Openspades as well ;)
Thinking back to when I started playing aos I can remember all the old servers and gameplay. I'm sure you will all remember the KillaWill servers and so on. I can also remember when new gamemodes came out like Babel, (although I've never been a fan of it myself) or mctf such as the aforementioned KillaWill servers. Another thing I will always remember is my first map I played on: Bridge Wars. I'm very happy to see that maps like these are still up and running :)
The aos experience just keeps getting better with new gamemodes like arena and when I discovered Slab6, the voxel editor by Ken Silverman. Although the icon for this program is hideous, it has been a God send to myself and other gamers. I now have several complete collection of skins made completely by me. I will also be releasing some of these skins to the public on this very site as I have 60 or more of them floating around :)
I have also been making my own scopes using Paint.net but I namely use edited versions of GamingFTW's scopes as they are very reliable and rather accurate as well, so be sure to check those out as well.
I suppose I should shut up now, you all just want to get back to playing your favorite FPS ;) Happy Anniversary Build&Shoot!

Im playing AceOfSpades since i watched this video from Pietsmiet. It´s called "Trashnight Aceofspades".
So i found the server from Lostmotel "Assassinsspade" and so i joined the IRC ...etc.

Found out about AoS via a pretty active gaming community at the time, mainly GTA games, joined on the first version and have been on and off since. Still around and breathing. :)

I can't even remember which moment would be my favourite really, there have been a few. I think when auto-climb was introduced is when I physically enjoyed game-play a lot more, not because it was annoying, but more so because I literally broke my keyboard over it (lol oops). There's been many changes since which have still been great, along with maps and things we don't really take into account as such great changes, considering where we started. I hope that we'll continue expanding on current projects and become a stronger community.

Found this game While sarching on Youtube . I started playing this name by my irl name Sarim . I Didnt even know what i was doing till i came on Minit and the admins told me about the game . After 1 year i started to learn this Noscoping and Wallpoping which was very hard but now here i am , playing .75 version changed name to Hoxton and Becoming a pro

My best moment in aos was i think 2 months ago when i was on a shotty killing spree on pinpoint of 27 kills

I honestly don't even remember how I found this game. It must have been like... 3 years ago. Last month I just felt like playing again after a LONG while of not playing. Got on today and noticed this post up at the top, so I signed up for the forums and now I'm here.

My best moment was on Bridge Wars, where I finally destroyed the enemy half of the Bridge, and killed their ENTIRE team all at once. It was pretty amazing.

Now gimme dat badge :P
