Happy Birthday! :D
First time I played AoS was 0.40 but I didn't play lots, I started playing frequently on 0.60 and continued 'til Fagex bought AoS then I stopped, then I started playing again a month or two ago.

A mi me gusta Ace of Spades. I have been playing the game for a year now and I love it. Ive gotten pretty good, and that because of the community. I discovered AoS/Bns myself while browsing a good shooter to play on my crappy computer :D

Hello, I am tin, leader of SPQR. I have found out about Ace of Spades around November 2011 and I have joined the community around May, 2012. Scipion showed it to me as he started playing it before me. Well, that's about it!

cool I'll bite
I started playing around mid-august 2011, the day .58 was released, and I pretty much fell in love.
My fondest memory would be playing CTF (and I mean proper CTF, not run-at-the-enemy-and-shoot-at-them) on the Omaha Beach map on some European server. As the brave, headstrong green team (at least I think it was green) we had to storm the beaches and gain the higher ground behind enemy lines. The server was using the squad script, so we made a squad entitled 'Squad 42',
consisting of myself (Kodiak), Deuce6, a weird british kid I don't remember too well and a guy named Fox. Through use of tunnelling, hiding, spawnkilling and tactical rushes we were able to keep the squad alive while still keeping the greens pinned. At one stage we took over one of their forward bunkers full of 5 or 6 green guys, taken out with 2 grenades, and then hunkered down is there as the green team tried in earnest to take us out. We played together for about 3 or 4 hours straight, I think I racked up something in the order of 650 kills.
Oh how the game has changed ;_;

An old friend of mine which we played Battlefield 1942 with before told me about the game, a week later I installed it, got hooked up on it, registed on the old forums and started modding, then invited a few friends and then they spread the word and so on, until this day.

I played this way back when, can't remember the specific number though. I stopped for awhile, then heard about the Jagex stuff, bought the game, and absolutely hated it. Came back here to play the good stuff.
The community could be a little better, but maybe I'm just an old man who hates kids.

Hello! Even though I look new since I have barely posted any posts I have have been playing this game on aceofspades.com
I found about this game when I was searching up good downladable games that had very minimal requirements. I was surprised about how well the community was and Even I, a noob myself enjoy playing this game all the time. Then when jagex took aceofspades.com I was worried that my game would be gone forever. Then I saw this website and I squealed like a little boy
. This game will never grow old and I know no matter what website is ace of spades gets deleted on, I will always find it and continue playing on
.My thoughts are always with you buildandshoot.com

My favorite thing about B&S is when you react with different kinds of people and sometimes need to deal with people in a hard way. I found this game while searching a new type of game that is unique and haven't played before, but i still wanted a fps game. So that is how i found you and everyone else. Thanks for reading and taking interest on this short application.

I found AoS while looking for games that my computer can actually play with minimum lag, and I loved the game ever since.

So, I found Ace of Spades and Buildandshoot because of NerdCubed. He is an awesome Youtuber who plays games and stuff. He runs a little series called 'Three free games Friday' where he plays 3 free games every Friday (Mostly on Friday) that he thinks are interesting and fun. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here.
Ever since then, I've been playing Ace of Spades. The first server I ever played was aloha.pk Classicgen. I fell in love with it. Slowly but surely, I started learning how to control recoil, crouch spamming and all other tactics. For a few weeks, I couldn't aim because I didn't know how to control recoil at all.
I started to feel that Classicgen was very empty and not much people were joining so I started playing aloha.pk Pinpoint and Klap East Coast. Oh the good times I had with Klap East Coast. I played with 2 guys called Shadow and Cyclone. We used to be in squads together and we used tunnels, water and just straight on rushing to steal the enemies intel. I am pretty sure Cyclone is now in a clan called AAT and I still do communicate with him quite a bit. I haven't seen Shadow in ages though.
Back then, Ace of Spades was one of my favourite games, and it still is now.
