Can't we just put our shit together, decompile the client, and make an 0.8? I mean, what's the worst that can happen? Jagex is not going to publicly execute us or anything, and considering their huge fail regarding AoS, I don't really think they truly care about this anymore.
1. Feel free to do that on your own time, we, however, aren't going to put ourselves into that situation.
2. It's not as simple as just "decompiling the client". You should do some research into what that entails and realize that what you're asking isn't reasonably possible.

2. By "decompiling the client" I meant do something similiar to what mat^2 did with the server software. I.e figure out how the basic structure of the program is built up, and then rewrite it with Voxlap. (Or some other voxel engine)
This was also the idea of the Voxlap project which I used to be a part of.

That's a lot more than decompilation. Regardless, something like that already exists: OpenSpades.

Also, I'm going to assume the Voxlap project you "used to be a part of" was Ericson's (aka SonarPulse) Voxlap port with this being your fork.

I wouldn't exactly consider adding a few comments + shifting around a few variables as you being "a part of" the team. Blue_Wink1

That's just all the crap that I actually pushed to GitHub. I had a lot more on my hard drive. Also, Sonarpulse had this habit of adding commits from other repositories to a temporary branch, and then rebasing it to the apropriate one. I've done quite a few optimisations for them.

it is very difficult to have to play with two versions, especially when it is much better (0.76).
There's another problem with keeping both versions: you can't have both installed at once...

The Build and Shoot launcher in the downloads section disagrees with you.

And royal spades also allows that, you don't even need to download ace of spades installer (it downloads the files for you)

What?
What difference will it make if you use an aimbot along with the other person whose using it?
That's like adding more fuel to a flame.

What does 0.75 do better than 0.76, besides less ugly font and spade range?

The SMG isn't the lance of God. The rifle actually can hit things. And it doesn't have AIDS
