I would pay something per month with or without extra features. I had more fun with aos than with any other game so i don't need any extra smileys. I'd like to pay for a whole year then and maybe get one month for free :).

AdBlock Plus (the really popular one) has a new website white-listing program, where if they deem ads "unobtrusive", the site will be added to a white-list that does not get blocked. (They apparently don't want to kill the internet.) While I'm 90% sure the B&S page layout meets their guidelines, Google Adsense sadly does not. Adsense cycles .gif based ads, which are considered to be obtrusive. If you could modify your ad agreement with Google to not run .gifs, you could apply for the whitelist! Here's a summary page.

I dont think smilies are permission based, I think everyone gets access to all smilies by default.

Separate forums for discussion, is something we could do but I am against it. I know we have very active people that have good ideas but wont be able to afford to visit the private sections of the site... Maybe a separate lounge but I am still leaning against it.

Platinum being the first group to beta test new things, I am for, we do need a small group to test out new stuff before it is released to everyone. And if something that required authing, like for PUG's and global stats, it could be somewhat automated.
