Post any/all of the purchases you've recently made in this thread, no matter how big or small!

As some of you may or may not know, I work as a Federal Corrections officer out in west Texas. In doing so, I need tough equipment that's going to stand up the often harsh environment as well as abuse from inmates, so when I decided to get a new pair of boots, I bought some additional protection as well in these nifty metatarsal guards.

They protect the tops of the feet where the hard toes end on boots from cuts, crushing damage, etc.,.. And they look cool as all hell . Boots+guards cost around $74, not too bad.

I aslo got me some of these nifty impact protection gloves, which have saved me from breaking my hands at least 4 times over! I'm always around razor wire as well, so they do well in fending off cuts and nicks... totally worth it! About $25

I bought a pair of cheap headphones 6 days ago. It was a good accomplishment.

I bought 2 sticks of ddr2 2gb ram for my laptop. 4gb sticks for ddr2 are like 80$ so I stuck with the 2x 2gb ddr2 it was like 24$ I wish lap tops where more upgradeable.
