I have to say something, If you hate it dosen't mean it should be banned. And if you disagree go away.
And anyways, it will never be banned(unless something really bad happens)

This is highly entertaining. But maybe we can talk to the mods about creating a tab in the main forum page for click sights such as "Dragon Cave". And instead of signatures (For this forum) we just paste the links in the reply in the thread that way it clears the. forum of "Eye Sores" and We can still Have our "Fad" I think that way everyone wins. But you still have to get them to make a change to the forum site. I mean I get what your saying with IRC that you can't read anything cause ever 3 secs you have another Click request pop up. But on the Forum? If it's not against the rules what's the deal? But I do think having your own section for click links would be just as enjoyable and probably get the players more clicks any how.

Do I have a click request? I put them in my signature to get views thats it. THE whole point of putting eggs in the signature is to get views by people who are reading the thread. And if we have a different section then its just a waste
(BTW Clicks don't really effect much on how fast does the egg hatches, it helps)

From a moderator's view, I see no reason why they should be banned. Yes I have them, and I am about to remove mine because the cool factor wore off. But just because something is not preferred by a small group of users, it gives no reason to have it taken away from others who enjoy it.

I dont get this, dragon cave is years old though, why is it just now appearing?
Age has nothing to do with an said goods entrance to the FAD genre.
That said good was just recently discovered and has spread like wildfire, but will be quick to die off such as Dragon Adopters.
Tell me, if its so old why hasn't it appeared before? Because its a FAD.
Also, please note; I'm not referring to the internal as a collective whole, just Build and Shoot.

1. By your logic, here are some fads;
Minecraft - 2011, became the beast it is today in 2012

Ace of Spades - 2011, peaked players around December - September. As of 2013, 1100 players on the final version game.

Earthbound - 1994, Peaked Fanbase 2009 - 2012

2. Dragon Adopters is DOWN. There's no way it COULD be alive. They shutdown because there were so many
players that ignored bugs.

It was never about the donation money or manpower. The game was simply never designed for such a large player base and there were many technical problems in the background, which usually go unnoticed by the players. We fixed it as much as we could, but these things tend to pile up until the whole system breaks.

Ninja, interesting examples you have posted.
Minecraft, Ace of Spades, and those other games...Most of them have immense followings, and continue to survive and will for years. Those are called TRENDS. Trends, or "in trend" are products that have an established following and thriving support. Dragon Adopters presence died on these forums before its initial downing. It's a fad.

Dragon Adopters isn't a "fad" if it dies here. Its a fad if it spikes altogether.

Either way, I don't get why they all want to ban these pictures.
