Well, Hajime no ippo and Attack on the titans are different. Hajime no ippo is sports anime while Attack on titan is mostly action. BOTH anime are epic. But it really depends on your taste, I PREFER Hajime no ippo over attack of titan though.
Also, Hajime no ippo has a lot of comedy, and the character are awesome too.
AND I am gonna Dempsey roll you till you die if you said that again.

I don't plan to watch the new Hajime no Ippo until I re-watch the first series, because I forgot lots of stuff from it and I don't want to watch the new thing and go: "Wtf is going on".

Talking bout sports anime, here are some that I think are fun:

Inazuma Eleven
Prince of Tennis

but SAO sucks. It should have ended at the 15th episode, and the 2nd part of the season felt out of place. The ending was pretty terrible, too.

SAO, isn't that good of a anime. It is like the twilight of the anime world. There are many better animes, but not many like them. SAO was really first of its kind therefore it went through a fire in the anime community. Attack on the titan pwned it hard though. Dot hack is the closet thing to SAO. But I think you should watch better animes, what kind of anime do you like?

imo, SAO just sucked due to the shit ton of romance and personal issues involved, thus attracting a ton of fanboys from Naruto or w/e. That's why I usually stick to any anime that focuses mostly on violence, i.e. Hellsing.

You already named it, .hack. Just because they can't leave, doesn't make it a completely different idea than everything else involving MMOs and VR. Thats like saying The Hunger Games didn't rip off Battle Royale.

Its true, but you see its not all about the story, SAO was popular like naruto and no one can explain why these animes go popular. probably because romance

I liked SAO for the theme but the romance was a bit too much. I prefer action so Attack on titan was really great for me. yet since that's done I don't know what to watch. I watched all the SAO type animes like accel world,btoom, and control: the possibility of something.
