Ace of Spades only 30fps when playing at 1280x960

Hey Leute wenn ich in der Config.ini die Auflösung ändere auf 1280x960 hab ich blos 30fps (geht nicht höher und mein PC ist ein beast) - ich habe alles in den einstellung von Nvidia aus bzw. auf Leistung angepasst,-

Hey Guys when i turn the resolution to 1280x960 i have only 30fps i think the framerate is locked so it can't get higher (i have a beast pc) - i have all options in the Nvidia Control Panel disabled and to performance changed

Your English is actually pretty good. It could use some work, but then, so could mine :P

As to your problem, what program are you using to check your framerate? Some programs can lock your FPS without your knowledge, which is usually configurable somewhere in the settings. If AoS seems to run smoother without the program running, there's your problem. If not, try another game (I recommend Skulltag, a DOOM emulator, for this purpose, due to its extremely low system requirements) and see what your framerate is there. If it's 30 FPS and NOT LOWER for your game of choice, go through your graphics card software and look carefully for anything related to locking your framerate.

Ive checked the framerate with fraps and dxtory - both programs are saying the same (30fps)
it doesen't make a diffrence when i close all other programs..
So i think the problem comes from ace of spades not from fraps or dxtory.

i hope i can fix the problem soon because im very bad with 30fps - normally i play with 60 in 800x600 ;) and i won't play in 800x600 again because it looks too pixalated for me xD

BTW ive turned the fps lock in fraps and dxtory off but that makes no diffrence too - when i close the programs i feel that i have 30fps anymore because it lags a bit :/

Try using Open Spades, It's a client for Ace of Spades that makes the graphics better, and it runs smoother on my PC. Even when recording.

I know Openspades but i don't like it.. so anyway i have to fix that problem ^^

Have you somehow enabled VSync and your monitor is at 30hz (which I doubt but you never know)? I know that with fraps it's highest amount of FPS It will show, is your refresh rate if you've got VSync on.

I have turned the Vertical Synchronisation off (Vsync) but in the Map Loading screen i have 60fps! i think 99.9% that the lags come from the game and not from fraps, dxtory or my nvidia settings (reinstallation brings nothing) ^^ but thanks for the reply
