I'm sorry about people being ignorant.

I kinda now feel we should leave the world by doing their own thing without US help. Seems no one respects a country that actually did something against communism and the war against terrorism.
Yeeah, the problem is that you guys have this tendency to oversimplify things when real politics are EXTREMELY complex. You always blame stuff on "war on terror" or "we were fighting communism" when things are just not that simple. On the communism thing, for an example, you guys sponsored a military dictatorship here in Brazil that lasted for two decades and kidnapped and assassinated A LOT of people.

We made bad decisions yes. But people need to stop blaming others for not reason. Example is the Iraq war. USA is the only country being blamed while, United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, and Spain also took part in Iraq.

Another reason is like the atomic bomb dropped on Japan. If we did a full scale invasion on Japan the causalities would have been worse. And the whole country would be wrecked would been made more spending to bring the country back to it's feet.

I could list so much more. But the world problems is not just because of the US. I do not agree with a country should mind it's own business because humans must work together. That's the only way to make this world spin.

While that is true, I find it pretty frustrating that most Americans just go the same road and say "Well we were battling communism so everything was cool kay" without noticing that other countries also did a hell of a job, and that these countries don't need the US babysitting them all the time. I'm not saying we should turn the whole world into a bunch of isolationist North Koreas, but goddamn, sometimes it seems the US government(not necessarily Americans in general, I should have phrased what I said before better, when I refer to "US" or "you guys" I mean generally "the US government, with or without support from it's population") just can't help but put its nose in everyone else's business when those did not need help.

But eh, we are just turning this into a politiks flamewar, we better stop before shit gets real and this thread gets locked(well, it probably will anyway but eh, can't be too sure).

>invades a country for oil
>blames it on terrorists
also, i believe communism can work. just not in the way it has been implemented so far.

also, most of us blame the US Government, and not the people.

COmmunism could work, IMO, but only if society itself was organized in a different way, and that would take one hell of a time.

A sort-of communism/socialism worked in some cultures, but they had a different cultural and individual mindset. With the way current civilization works, I don't think a socialist state would last longer unless it was a worldwide change, and I think that that is pretty much next to impossible to happen. If we, however, had a society organized more like that of those other cultures, it could work. I don't know if in a worldwide scale, but multiple communities working on a communist or socialist way could work.
But all of that is pretty much guesswork from a 15-year-old who reads a lot, so disregard it if you want.

Mostly tribal people that lived in small, discentralized communities. One example I'd be able to name is some societies in small Polynesian islands, like the ones in the Chatham Islands, or some nomadic or semi-nomadic indigenous people in South America.

Those were never really big, other-people-conquering, expansive societies, though, so that should speak lots about how the whole world would end organized in if it reverted entirely to a Communist-like ideology. I'd doubt if there werent already some expansive and less-communist societies in some places invading other people's lands and shit, so it would be a really short utopia.

That's called mentality. Not culture.
