Senior member =/= Not a moron(not that I'm calling Gunslinger a moron, he isn't, just his logic that is faulty). Just remember about rambo... He could be considered a "senior" member of the community too =P
Rambo is not a moron.
I didn't personally met him but from what I've read about him he was pretty... different.

Gunslinger, considering the average age of the consumers( I have never met a pre-teen who would not say "Ooohhhh, pretty, and Minecraft!" CLICK!), Jagex's tendency to hide negative attitudes, and the fact that opposition like buildandshoot.com did not exist to the public prior to release date, there's a list of reasons for refunds. However, everyone at buildandshoot or the forums can't be refunded since they've been here since the bad news began.
Still, I think a major bunch of these issues could have been averted if everyone was forced to look at Metacritic's ratings. But then again, Jagex targets the idiots who don't see that kind of stuff.

If Jagex lied on objective facts to you, then you deserve a refund. If there were subjective opinions involved, suck it up.

If you don't think the game is "creative" enough, that's your problem.
If your computer fails to run the game due to missing hardware which was never specified, that's false advertising, and is Jagex's error.

Gunslinger, I hate to say it but you're being an asshole. If they want a refund they are legally and imo morally, entitled to it, I see nothing pathetic about it. I don't care if it's $2 or $200. It's the principle of the matter.

You guys think that I could get a refund, even though I won the game? o.o". I would love the free $10.00. Just saying. Green_tongue

It is hard to get a refund and since you have "beat" a MMOFPS that is lobby based I don't think they will give you money, sir.

Are you dumb? He won it in the facebook contest, or some other giveaway. He didn't 'win' the game in the way you think he means.

I ended up getting a refund also when they released it on steam back then. The process went pretty smoothe, didn't have any hurdles. To be honest, i haven't have much problems getting refunds in the past, and will only get one if I really feel it is necessary. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I made a ticket asking for a working product or a refund, and they politely declined both requests saying that I "Would have to take it up with the game's producer as we are not liable for the product they release" (or words to that effect). Needless to say I was not impressed, no have I ever been with their support system.
