High end computer runs AoS with low framerate.

Recently got a new computer and decided to redownload Ace of Spades. To my surprise, my frame rate was horrible, making it extremely difficult to play the game properly. Anyone know if there is any potential way to fix this, or is my computer too new to run this game? I've tried running the game on a single core, but it only made a fraction of a difference.

And if you want to know the specs of the computer,

i5 4670K Processor.
GTX 660 Graphics Card
8 GB of DDR3 RAM
1TB Seagate Barracuda

First of all, there are plenty of threads of people complaining like this. If you had read those you would know the answer: Voxlap is heavily optimized for old computers in ways that won't benefit, and may even hurt, your performance.

Try OpenSpades instead.

Sorry about not finding the other thread. I did a bit a searching before and had limited luck. I'll take a look at OpenSpades. Hopefully it won't be too different from what I am used to.
