Abandon 0.75, Update to 0.76

Let's face it. .75 is just awful. The weapons balancing is complete horse shit. The rifle can't hit the broad side of a barn from 10 ft. away, the smg is both a killing machine and a jackhammer. Not to mention the amount of hackers there are these days. But all this can be discarded by switching to .76. The SMG is nerfed, the rifle can actually hit something, and there are little to no hackers. To switch, we could post an announcement a few days in advance telling all the players to switch to .76. Then, a few days later, the download link and server list for .75 should be deleted. Thank you for reading my rant

You know, with all this talk over whether .75 should be taken away for players to get on .76, why don't we take a stab at making our own version of Ace of Spades classic? My biggest gripe with .76 is the fact that the rifle has the lowest fire rate of all the guns, and I kind of wish for that to be changed slightly, and I would say we have a more well rounded game. I mean, seriously, we have people making complete remakes of the game while just making our own community built version would be so much easier. Just a little food for thought, that's all.

I just spent about an hour or two playing 0.76 and the rifle is by far much better than it was in 0.75. Rate of fire seemed adequate considering the spread on the SMG.

I really didn't notice the difference in 0.75 aim with the rifle before I played the newest version. I just put it down as me being rusty from not playing in about a year.

As of 8/23/13 the highest vote is to switch to 0.76, why don't we just encourage everyone to vote on this thread and be done with it. Another thing to note is that you can run both versions of the game by downloading the installers and then installing them through the launcher. Back on topic, 0.76 isn't as big of a change as you might think. It,s mainly just a weapon tuning update.
