Also, Airsoft is a rarer thing up here in Canada, well... Southern Ontario.
The only thing I like about airsoft is the guns though. I will admit it I think its ridiculous when I see some people take the game to and extreme and invest large sums of money into the sport like its bootcamp with their fancy headgear and totally tacked out rifles to the point where they have flash suppressors and forgrips for some reason.
I'll stick to my Tippmann X7 ty

Let's try and keep this from devolving into an Airsoft vs Paintball argument.
While things like stories, pictures and discussions about Paintballing are welcomed in this thread, if you're just posting to say how much better one hobby is than the other, then don't bother.
If you want to shitpost, go do it in a subforum where that's actually the point.

other hand gas doesn't have delays. I don't know if that makes sense XD. It's hard to explain

A gun that shoots fine in the summer can be terrible in the winter, and, conversely, a gun that shoots under the site's FPS limits in winter can creep over in summer.
Gas or Electric
Gas blow-back guns are definitely more fun to shoot though.

This morning i played in a farm (cqb), we were about 10 divided into 2 squads: one squad had to defend the bomb, and the other one had to defuse it before the explosion (it's just an alarm).
I was in the defense squad and me and a friend were camping near the bomb (i was in the bushes, so i was pratically invisible), after 2 minutes a guy came there and i hit him, then i continued to stay there aiming at the corner from where the enemies should come from, but for half hour no one came, then someone of our squad came to tell us that the match was ended. pratically the enemies were trying to attack from the other side, but they got "killed" by the other defenders.
Then i realised that i was crouched in the bushes for half hour for nothing...

In my recent skirmish at the weekend, I was holed up in a foxhole on the right side of a small village defending it, and the enemies were attacking from the bottom of the slope. We had 3 lives each and the attackers had infinite. I 'killed' a few people right at the start of the round, then went for around 10 minutes without seeing anyone.
Suddenly someone runs across the front of the village and end up taking cover behind a wooden fence about 10 metres in front of me. I was certain they had spotted me because the fence had small gaps in which you can see through (although shooting through them doesn't count as a kill, so I never fired at them), but I stayed put and kept my gun trained on their position, waiting for them to pop out.
About a minute later, they start firing at someone over on the other side of the village. Siezing the opportunity, I quickly sneaked forwards with the sound of their fire covering my footsteps and rattling BB's, came up behind them, prodded them in the back with my muzzle and asked them if they wanted to take the hit (my site doesn't enforce a 'bang' rule - instead, you ask them to take the hit, but if they feel they can shoot you, they're welcome to try). They did, and as they walked off I ran back to my foxhole to continue watching.
I'm glad they did decide to take the hit, since my gun wasn't working properly and wouldn't fire most of the time. If they'd tried to contest it and shoot me, they probably would have even though my gun was in their back.

I'm imagining all of these stories as if they happened in AoS in my head... sounds like a normal boring round.
It's a Christmas miracle!

I have a few Airsoft guns but I don't do 'em much.
But having those big battles that you said sound pretty Epic!

I airsoft a tad bit, mainly with friends that are around my age. There are quite a few fields around this area, sometime I'll check 'em out. I have a "JG" G36c (it's an off-brand but evike said it was JG), and a WE 1911 GBB. Right now I have the G36c in pieces because throughout the summer I've been meaning to adjust the Angle of Engagement and possibly shim the gearbox. Which I actually might do soon since it's getting close to my "airsoft season" where there are no bugs and it's cool outside. I don't have much gear but I do have fun. I have a set up for a gun cam which I might record some for fun.
I guess I'll post pictures in the future. :)
