How's it going everybody. I've been reading about the forum and noticing a few games that you guys have shared that I myself have actually downloaded. In contribution, here's a few games that I play with a bit of detail behind each game for good measure.

4. NEO Scavenger (Buy) ($10.00-$25.00 [Special Editions])
NEO Scavenger takes place in a near-future, post apocalyptic Earth, where human warfare and supernatural activity have fragmented mankind into struggling pockets of civilization. Harsh wilderness and blasted ruins cover most of the planet, dotted by fragile settlements that can be extinguished in an instant. A few cities survived the apocalypse, evolving into massive, ultra-urban fortresses.

Slender: The Eight Pages is a short, experimental horror game in which you must travel through a dark woods at night with one simple goal; find all eight pages. 6. Killing Floor (Buy) ($10.00)
Killing Floor a co-op survival horror game. The aim – cleanse each area of zombies, in waves, until you get to the last one. The Big One. The Patriarch. Then exterminate him, too. Actually, they aren’t “zombies”. They are the left-over “specimens” from a cheap and dirty government program to clone soldier-monsters. The basic ones will just munch on your arm and try to disembowel you. The bigger ones were the first ones they tried arming. Nothing much. Just a chainsaw or a blade for starters. They had just got on to the chain gun and rockets when the government tried to secretly shut down their secret program.

Keep in mind. You played the Beta. Not the Final Copy. Try it again. You might like it.

Celtic, I have a question. Why did you choose Generals over the older, mostly superior games Westwood studios made?
Like Red Alert II, that was the shit.

Probably due to the fact I've only played Command & Conquer: Generals. I haven't touched Red Alert II yet. I will try it out sometime.

You should try them all out. They might have awful graphics, but the music, the campaign and the nostalgia emitting from it is something everyone should experience.

Couldn't agree more. 'Fore school started I was playing through one of the old ones and it was just so awesome. I can't tell if it's actually super amazing or if I'm just living vicariously through my younger self. Oh man I especially loved the live-acted cutscenes.

Which old one? I've played like all of them (except for Renegade) and I still distinctly remember the cutscenes... But, don't waste your time on Command and Conquer 4, only play it if you want to know the lore and backstory. Red Alert 2 was the first game that really got me interested in RTS's, so if you manage to play it, you'll know why. BTW is anyone looking forward to the new Command and Conquer game being released this year?

The original. With NOD and GDI. Oh man good times.

Haha I didn't know they were still coming out with new ones? The only newer (relatively) RTS I've played was Rome: Total War, and Age of Empires 3 if you count that.
