Actually what I meant is that often atheists have a broader and more precise knowledge of what the dogmas of a certain religion actually say than the majority of the people in that religion.

You saying like that makes it look like it is widespread and 99% of the population are christian-hating atheists/muslims, when over 76% of the American population is Christian, with "No Religion" composing only around 15%(and that includes atheists, agnostics and deists, that believe in a god but don't identify with any religion) and Islam composing only 0.8% of the population.
