I have look all over YouTube, Watched all the videos and found nothing to help me really make a server. I know you go to Ace of spades Server and fill that out, But after that it says "Could not retrieve IP address". I am confused of what I do after that. If any of you people reading could help me that would be a big help

Cheers

go download pysnipe then start the .exe and edit the config to your liking. Next go port forward so people will be able to connect to your server besides you. Now just start the .exe again.

2 Questions
1. Is .exe the ace of spades server thing?
2. What is port forward

the .exe is the run application in the pysnipe folder. Port forwarding is something you will have to google, I don't know what it is but you will need to to it if you are hosting a server.

Thanks Jdrew. Do I need to open my computer to keep it running?

server.exe in the Ace of Spades folder is the vanilla server, which lacks many important features.

pyspades/PySnip is the server software you want: http://buildandshoot.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=84
